Today we're talking about my new favourite game: Mina the Hollower by Yacht Club Games. It's the game that finally got me engaged with a Soulslike for the first time in my life.

Mina the Hollower is phenomenal, and I can't overstate just how bad I usually am at these kinds of games. I bounce off games like Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Hollow Knight, and even Silksong-style experiences hard.

The only reason I tried Mina the Hollower was because I knew it offered accessibility options and gameplay modifiers that could make the experience easier. The extraordinary thing is that I haven't used them. Instead, I've found myself completely hooked and now deep into the game.

I honestly can't believe I'm persevering with this challenging Metroidvania Soulslike, and it's quickly become one of my favourite games of the year.
