Today we are talking about the number of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA VI) fans who have died waiting for GTA VI to be released. It has been a 13 year wait for GTA VI, and in that time many fans of the series will have died. In this video, we use sales data, age demographics and actuarial life tables to estimate that figure, as well as the number of deaths that occurred during the game's one year delay and the potential sales Rockstar will miss out on from players who won't live to buy it.
This was a really interesting video to put together, and I enjoyed digging into the statistics, research and analysis behind it. Of course, behind all these numbers are the real life deaths of players who would have loved to have gotten their hands on GTA VI.
