Nothing determines the path a child will take better than a parent showing love and support for their kids interest.
In the case of Stephen Kick Studio Head and founder of @Nightdivestudios , he developed a passion for gaming at an early age when his Dad introduced him to adventure games like Myst and The 7th Guest. This became bonding time for him and his father, and over the years they completed many virtual adventures together. Stephen's name has become synonymous with some of the best remakes, remasters and re-releases of games from the '90s and early 2000s, including System Shock, Turok and Quake II. Alongside his father his Mom was adamant that he follow his passion for gaming and go to school to study game design.
In this documentary short, we hear how Stephen's childhood influenced his ambition to move into game design, the impact his Dad had in introducing him to the world of gaming, and the role his Mom played in motivating him to go to school to study it.
